What to Expect
Pick up from your hotel (located central in istanbul) by air-conditioned non-smoking tour bus between 08:00 am. - 08:30 am. and continue to visit;
Blue Mosque
Sultanahmet Mosque (called in turkish) took its name from the ruler at the time of its construction, Sultan Ahmet I (1590 -1617), the 14th emperor of the Ottoman Empire. Constructed between 1609 and 1616, it is also known as the Blue Mosque for its mass of 20,000 blue and green toned tiles adorning its ceiling.
Suleymaniye Mosque
Suleymaniye Mosque is the second largest imperial mosque complex in the city, built during the reign of Sultan Suleyman the Magnificent. This period known as the Classical Period is the ‘ golden age’ of the Ottoman empire. The mosque was built by the famous Ottoman Architect Sinan, between 1550-1557. It is considered to be one of the masterpieces of Ottoman architect Sinan.
Hippodrome and Obelisk
Center of sportive (chariot races, athletics) events and political activities of the old city. Obelisk of Theodosius, Serpentine Column, German Fountain of Wilhelm II are the monuments decorating Hippodrome.
Topkapi Palace
The Palace was the official residence of Ottoman Sultans for almost 400 years. In 1924 Topkapi Palace was converted into a museum in 1985 it became an official part of Istanbul’s Old City’s designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Fener Balat: Orthodox & Jewish Heritage
The estuary, Halic in Turkish, was called as the Golden Horn by Byzantines. The Golden Horn was closely associated with the Tulip Era, the most controversial period of Ottoman history. At present two districts of Istanbul, Balat and Fener, are closely associated with Golden Horn granted privileges to Christian and Jewish communities living in the city to perform their rituals free of intervention.

You can cancel the booking 2 days prior to the start of the tour. If you cancel within 2 days of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
Additional Info
Blue Mosque will be replaced by Nuruosmaniye Mosque on Fridays.
Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays.
Vehicle will be used only for the necessary part of the this tour and please be prepared for a bit walking during the tour.
Cover ups and head scarves are provided at the Blue Mosque.
Not recommended for participants with walking difficulties.
