I am going to visit Istanbul in August with my family. I wonder to see Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia. We will be staying in old city where the main attractions but what do you suggest us to see other mosques we should see in Istanbul?

Sulemaniye Mosque is my favorite. Blue Mosque has definitely the most stunning work, but Sulemaniye is more true to its purpose and an invitation to your inner peace. I would say that Eyup Mosque and that region are worth to see as well. There is hill called Pierre Loti which has very good view of bosphorus.
I would suggest you that you should see Suleymaniye Mosque it is the biggest one in Istanbul. Suleymaniye Mosque is very close to Grand Bazaar. Second Rustem Pasha Mosque is one of the finest Ottoman mosques in Istanbul and both of them designed by the famous Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan. Third New Mosque (Yeni Camii) is is one of Istanbul's most prominent mosques, situated at the opening to the Golden Horn, close to the Galata Bridge and the Spice Bazaar. I have added photo of the Rustem Pasha Mosque.
