I want to use public transport to go to sultan ahmet. I checked on google map M1A goes to zeytinburnu then from kocatepe 94A, 97, 97B goes to beyazit.
What type of card I should buy to go to sultan ahmet? Will one card cover both M1A and 94A etc?

Yes it is possible, you can take metro from Ataturk Airport to Yenikapi it is last stop of the line than transfer to metro from Yenikapi to Taksim Square.
